Global map of civil society innovation to advance human rights includes the SA Urban Food and Farming Trust

The SA Urban Food and Farming Trust has been included in a global map of civil society innovation, which identifies and disseminates innovative practices in order to foster resilience and sustainability in challenging times.

The initiative to Map Civil Society Innovation to Advance Human Rights, led by Rights CoLab, is a collaborative effort among a growing consortium of civil society resource hubs to help answer questions facing civil society actors in light of rising authoritarianism, populist politics, nationalism, and shifting international human rights norms, all exacerbated by the global pandemic, which created an even more dramatic disruption to the collaborative channels and funding practices that have supported international solidarity on human rights in the last half century.
